These paintings are usually 1.8m x 1.5m on a custom made canvas. Other sizes are available.

I prefer, if possible, to meet the horse, do my preliminary sketches and photograph them before starting on their portrait. It helps me convey their character.

Each piece is hand-painted in oil on fine linen canvas, using photographic references and, when possible, in-person observation.
